So New York Fashion Week is over and it's London's turn this week…

{My friend has tickets to one of the shows and she's been agonising over what to wear for weeks now. I wouldn't have a clue!}

There were some gorgeous dresses at NYFW with a certain amount of bridal style worth swooning over…

Marchesa

Dreamy dresses full of tulle with skin tight, see through lace juxtaposed with lots of ‘fluffiness' (for want of a better word!)

You'd have to be quite a fashion forward bride to wear these dramatic numbers, but aren't they just fabulous?

The dress below is my absolute favourite!

{I would be far too reserved to actually wear it but what's to stop me wearing it in my dreams?!}

Other designers worth mentioning:

Lela Rose {who also design chic bridesmaids dresses for Dessy}

The neckline is divine on this short n' sweet dress and I actually really like the netted fabric…controversial!

A dip dyed hem and another beautiful neckline.

Monique Lhuillier

The goddess of wedding dresses sent some STUNNING black lacy numbers down the catwalk but not many lighter colours {it is the Fall collection after all} This was one of her only bridal style dresses, a nude lace dress with a simple black bow sash:

Can I dare to dream again? Imagine this dress in ivory:

Wouldn't it make a perfect wedding dress?!
