Can you imagine how stunning a gypsy themed wedding could be? Let's indulge our wildest gypsy wedding fantasies…
Colour Palette: turquoise, emerald green, blush pink, faded red and tarnished gold.
Stationary: If at all, would look like colourful doilies as above. But guests would be invited by word of mouth…the more the merrier!
Venue: Fields and gypsy caravans of course! {It's got Kate Moss' seal of approval}

Dress: It has to be of the delicate, vintage lace variety I'm thinking Monique Llhuillier, Delphine Manivet or Lazaro. {Lace cape, as above, optional}
Jewellery: Lots of it! In antique {tarnished} gold, silver, adorned with colourful stones, the biggest, dangliest chandelier earrings and armfuls of jingling, jangling bangles.
Veil: Wild, feathery headpiece as above…or, even better, a long lace gypsy esque work of art by Delphine Manivet:

Groom: Think disheveled, tattooed Johny Depp/Russell Brand type in a faded black suit, eyeliner, tasseled scarf draped around his neck and optional {but unadvisable} gold medallions and earring{s}.
Florals: Colourful wild flowers and wild red & pink roses in assorted containers, mix matched jars, milk jugs, cans, bottles, tea cups, egg cups etc.
Entertainment: Tarot card reader or little paper fortune tellers {also known as ‘cootie catchers'}, fun fair rides such as a carousel, an accordion player and a lively thigh slapping, toe tapping band for the obligatory rip roaring, wild party!
Or what about one of these Zoltar Fortune Tellers…too freaky?

Food: BBQ/buffet on paper plates/napkins {therefore no washing up}
Cake: Mismatched and home baked by guests, propped up on old books, antique silver trays and surrounded by wild roses.
Decor: Fairy lights, candles and not much else…
Honeymoon: The horses cart the newlywed's caravan off into the sunrise…on a life long journey together.
The wedding industry along with brides all over the world love all things vintage at the moment and the British public were fascinated by the Irish and Romany Traveller culture as portrayed in My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, so why not hark back to simpler times and have a big, beautiful, gypsy themed wedding?!
