It all started with one image.

The image was of a bride in a beautiful lace dress standing alongside her bridesmaids…

Each of her bridesmaids was wearing a different colour and each had a different bouquet of rainbow florals.

Here is that image:

As you can imagine, I just had to see more…

The bride's name is Kami, her groom is Ryan & they had the biggest, most stylish bridal party I've ever seen!

{Their gorgeous engagement shoot was featured on Bridal Musings last week.}

I feel very lucky to be able to share this special, creative, unique wedding captured beautifully by Laura of Laura Murray Photography and Kami's story behind their day.

The Proposal: I came home from work late and Ryan had made me dinner, it was an odd combination of ALL of my favorite foods.  He got on one knee and proposed.

Location & date of wedding: Our Lady of Lourdes Church for our ceremony and for our wedding venue we choose the Grand Hyatt of Denver.  The moment we saw the Grand Hyatt of Denver we knew it was the perfect location for us. It had the perfect atmosphere-from the 38th floor, we were surrounded by a complete 360 view of Denver!

The Dress: I went shopping with my mom for my wedding dress and could have left with almost any of their (the Little White Dress) dresses, they had the best selection! However, I ended up choosing my dress designed by Chia Lieu, because it made me feel like I was “all grown up”. I felt like I found this dress in my grandma’s attic and tried it on, but this time it fit! I felt like a classic and timeless bride.

{Fabulous blue suede shoes to give Elvis a run for his money!}

Hair & Make Up: One of my long time girl friends did my hair as a wedding gift and I did my own makeup. Doing makeup and getting ready is one of my favorite things to do with my girls. I had so much fun getting ready that morning. My 13 bridesmaids and I got our hair done, our tarot cards read, had mimosa’s and I did a lot of their makeup and lashes.

Shoes and Accessories: The shoes may have been more of a challenge to find then my dress, head piece or even the venue. I was so excited when I came across the Jessica Simpson high peep toed heels. They were a royal “blue suede shoe” and I thought they were just the most charming pair ever.

The Grooms Attire: Ryan wore a classic black tux and ivory vest and tie.

Bridesmaids/Groomsmens Attire: We had thirteen bridesmaids and thirteen groomsmen all wearing a different color. (I assigned each bridesmaid and each groomsman a color that I thought fit their personality).  Each bridesmaid chose their own dress in their color. I gave each bridesmaid a matching clutch and the boys a matching pocket square made by Kristie Livermore of Chick Bags.

{Sensible, stylish groomsmen and then…don't you just LOVE the shot below?!}

The Flowers: Our florist, Cori Cook Floral Design, took on many of the wedding details… In particular the fourteen beautiful boutiques and boutonnieres, each completely unique from the other…

{Just to let you know I have shared each & every beautiful image of the bridesmaids & their fabulous bouquets…because they are AMAZING!}

{Kami is such a beautiful bride. She definitely achieved the classic, timeless bridal look she was going for!}

Ok…you can pick your jaws up off the floor now. How amazing! And that's just part 1, check out part 2 for Kami and Ryan's Reception photos, more group shots and all the chic, creative little details.
