Summer's here! Though you wouldn't know it in rainy England.

But come rain or shine, there's something about berries that screams ‘summer' and I adore bright, rich berry tones paired with a pure, white wedding dress. {Brides, just make sure to keep those berries far away from the actual dress!}

Only the juiciest of berries and images were handpicked for this inspiration board:

Bowls of strawberries with added greenery make charming {and cost effective} centerpieces for a rustic, outdoor wedding and I've always loved the idea of sending home a pot of homemade jam. But, if you're more of an undomestic goddess {like me} then you could always personalise store bought jam with simple labels and patterned fabric secured around the lid with twine, ribbon or lace edging.

Bags of cherries make lovely ‘take home on your way out favours' and they look so perfectly Provençal in those brown paper bags.

How about a vibrant bouquet of red and bright pink flowers a la Kate Spade? Or an explosion of berry coloured flowers in mismatched jars and pots as centrepieces? Throw in some raspberries to add texture and as a juicy treat for your guests.

In terms of make up, I'd love to see berry stained lips and cheeks for the bride!

DIY brides need not feel left out ~ this incredible tissue paper pom pom adorned dessert bar is berrylicious, with pale berry shades and those gorgeous pink and white stripes!

I'd love to hear your thoughts, should berries stay on plates or are they a sweet addition to weddings?
