Hello lovely people,

I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!

There's no weekly round up this week I'm afraid but I've got some exciting news for all you DIY Londoners:

There's cake decorating, fabric flower bouquet making, printmaking, paper cutting, fabric flower brooch making, flower arranging and a host of other fantastic crafty tutorials on offer! Visit the We Make London website for more details.

A designer friend of mine, Ninette of Tactile Wonderland, told me all about a workshop she's running which she thought would be right up my ‘all things wedding-related' street. Garter making for beginners! How brilliant would it be to make your own unique garter?

Learn how to make bespoke and elegantly lascivious garters. This includes learning how to do a French seam (as well as some handstitching) and decorating a garter with ribbons, tassles and vintage charms. Each person will take home their very own personalised garter.

All materials are included and you can choose:

– elasticated lace in a few different colours and widths

– ribbons in different colours and widths

– charms, trinkets, tassles and feathers

If you have any vintage bits of lace or perhaps some trinkets at home that you would like to incorporate into the garter please feel free to bring them along too.

Sounds fab doesn't it? The workshop is taking place this Friday 8th July at 6:30-9pm {perfect for an after work activity with the girls} and is £35 per person.

If you're interested, you can book online here but I'd be quick as class spaces are limited!

Now here's something ALL of you can appreciate no matter what your post code/ zip code or country you're in:

A sneak peek at a cool and quirky wedding to come next week…that I'm quite sure will knock your socks off!

Intrigued much?
