Elegant Raspberry Red, Gray & Pewter Wedding
Hello lovelies,
All you UK couples, time is running out to enter this fantastic competition to win your dream engagement shoot. There’s only a few days left so get entering!
Now onto today’s chic Californian wedding. The palette for Andrew and Debbie’s wedding is delicious ~ a red raspberry, gray and pewter delight! Debbie said: I have always liked the color of raspberries, so we used it as an accent color throughout the event. Such a lovely idea. I adore the colour palette, Debbie’s statement veil and the DIY raspberry and burlap boutonnieres!
The editorial style wedding photos by J. Shipley are absolutely stunning ~ the church shots are so beautifully atmospheric while the groomsmen’s group shots are such fun! Enjoy…
FlowersHydrangeas, dahlia, stock, wax
Décor & DetailsWe made the boutonnières for the guys out of burlap and antique raspberries, we also made the burlap table runners and hunted for all kinds of antique bottles.
The RefreshmentsSimple dinner, lasagna, salad with raspberries, we had wine and champagne and cake.
The Wedding Music Processional: Ave Maria, Recessional: “Feeling Good”, First dance “Eyes on the Prize” by M. Ward.
Photography We both knew Jeffrey of J. Shipley Photography over the years, Andrew grew up in the same town as him. We were impressed with his work and loved his artistic expression.
Got any advice for other brides/couples? Take in every moment, relax, delegate.
Wise words…delegating can be hard {if you’re a bit of a control freak, like me} but it’s essential for your sanity. Trust in your close friends/family to help you.
Congratulations Debbie and Andrew! Thanks for sharing your beautiful wedding with us.

I just stumbled upon this blog from Pinterest. My best friend is getting married and we LOVE this wedding dress…it’s gorgeous and so perfect for her! Is there any way you could give the details about the gown (e.g. style name, designer, where it was purchased, etc.)? Thank you!!
