• Scottish Sunshine Wedding: Yellow Roses & Charcoal Grey Tartan {2}

    Hallo, ciamar a tha sibh? {That’s Scottish Gaelic for ‘Hello, how are you?’}

    Did you catch Part 1 of Lindsey and David’s bright and beautiful Scottish wedding? Now it’s time for Part 2 of their elegant, yellow, white and grey wedding and more of Ed Osborn’s stunning photography. I have a feeling you’re going to love the favours, the simplicity of the cake {an elegant M&S purchase decorated with Lindsey and David’s signature bright yellow roses} and the fun photos of the ceilidh dances!

    The favours were little candy stripe bags of sweets and the table names and seating plan were designed by Lindsey’s father, who is a retired graphic designer. After Lindsey’s walk down the aisle to Nick Cave’s “Into My Arms”, the great music selection continued with the first dance to “Harvest Moon” by Neil Young; this was followed by a second dance “St Bernard’s Waltz” for Lindsey and her father, and then the ceilidh continued until the evening disco.

    Congratulations Lindsey and David, wishing you all the best and thank you to Ed of Ed Osborn Photography for sharing your incredibly beautiful photography with us, it’s been such a pleasure to feature!

    I may be slightly biased as this was my first ever Scottish wedding feature on Bridal Musings

    but I have to say, I think David makes such a stylish groom in his charcoal grey wool suit and matching kilt. Don’t you?
