Rustic, Cosy Engagement Shoot In The Woods

I've got a gorgeous engagement shoot to share with you that is super special because the couple, Elaine and Chris, are getting married in just 3 days time! I'm so excited for them and I haven't even met them!

Just by looking at these photos you can see a) how utterly loved up they are and b) what a sweet and stylish couple they are too. Bet they're wedding is going to be beautiful…

Over to Elaine with a little about their shoot and their upcoming wedding:

Chris and I met in high school, although we didn't start dating until after we both graduated (I was 18, he was 21!) We have been shackin' up for a couple years and have a Boston Terrier that we're obsessed with named Scully. We're getting married this coming Sunday the 30th and can't wait to jet off to Maui for our honeymoon as husband and wife!

We chose to do our engagement photos first in the coffee shop because Chris likes coffee and Nate and Amanda suggested the really cool coffee shop near their house. We also wanted to feel comfortable and not staged, so we felt natural just having a little coffee date :)

We went into the woodsy area afterwards because we love the outdoor setting. We're having our wedding at a venue that has a lot of really cool outdoor areas, including huge trees that are over 100 years old. So, we wanted to echo some of those themes in our engagement photos. We had a blast, and while we really felt that amazing photos were captured ~ we still got to feel like our silly selves!
