Time for our latest installment of DIY courtesy of those clever folks at Anna Lee Company…

It’s not often that you find a unique idea, one that you’ve never come across before in wedding blog land. But these DIY button cupcake toppers are just that. What a sweet idea and such a simple DIY too ~ just how I like ‘em!

DIY Button Cupcake Toppers

We LOVE cupcakes, brides who serve them, and being guests at weddings with cupcakes the most! But we hate the idea of not being able to have a topper or decor for your cake just because it’s a smaller portion and/or the cost would be too great to top them all. Well enter buttons to the rescue!

We took basic wood skewer sticks and glued a button to the top and cut them to different heights to add some interest and whimsy.

I love that ~ mini cakes deserve cake toppers too!

The buttons Kelly and Jodi used are gorgeously vintage looking, imagine the fun you could have matching your buttons to your wedding colour scheme or even having multi-coloured buttons for pops of vibrant colour?
