Now that you’ve seen Leo and Michelle’s sweet engagement film and Part 1 of their gorgeous wedding, it’s time to share Part 2. Things to look out for (aside from the stunning photography by Tin Sparrow Studio) include bridesmaids in full length, elegant, navy gowns, super stylish groomsmen and sweet DIY touches using vintage sheet music!
I’ll pass you over to the beautiful Michelle to tell you all about their day:
We wanted to go for a vintage touch which is why I went with the birdcage veil. We are also both musicians so for our table numbers we copied sheet music and lightened it. We then printed the table numbers on top for a nice background. We wanted the centerpieces to be large since it was such a grand room. Since the bridesmaids dresses were indigo blue, we went with a vibrant purple, which was a beautiful contrasting color.
For favors, my Mom and I made homemade jam- peach and blueberry. We alternated favors, one person received jam, and the next a box of chocolate. We also purchased small vintage gift tags made from vintage sheet music to add to the favors.
We chose Tin Sparrow Studio to be our photographers because we loved the portfolio of pictures they had. Leo and I wanted candid shots that captured our emotion and love for each other without looking cheesy. Matt and Anna’s photographs were artistic and not staged looking which was exactly what we were looking for.
Also, Matt and Anna are extremely passionate about what they do. When I would tell Anna about my plans for our wedding, she would light up in excitement. Seeing the genuine energy and excitement they had for our special day made me confident that they would capture every important moment. Tin Sparrow Studio truly went above and beyond to capture on picture the most important day of our life.
Michelle’s advice to other brides: If at the end of the day you are married, the day was a success!
Congratulations to Michelle and Leo wishing you all the best for a musical, love filled future together.
Who else is loving those vintage music sheet table numbers?
Ps. As I was talking about the value of wedding music in Part 1, I thought I’d share one of the songs Leo & Michelle used on their table numbers ~ this is bound to liven up a boring Wednesday afternoon!
