Weekend Link Love + I’m Off To Paris!
Welcome to the weekend!
I hope you’ve got fun/relaxing/productive plans for the weekend. What are you up to?
I’ve been working my socks off because I’m off to Paris for a few days tomorrow ~ not for a romantic trip but a family one. It’s a surprise trip for my mother in law’s 70th birthday and she’s going to LOVE it. Needless to say I’m really looking forward to it too (the diet can wait a little longer) Laduree here I come!*

But it also means that despite my best intentions 3 posts a day just isn’t going to be feasible next week.
In fact, from now on let’s just say say expect to find daily wedding inspiration on Bridal Musings (usually 2 posts on weekdays). It’ll save me from the HUGE pangs of guilt I experience when life/work inevitably gets in the way of blogging. I hope you understand.
Onto sharing some of the loveliness from around the web in my first ‘Link Love’ post…
Firstly, here’s the latest from some of my favourite UK weddings blogs:
Love My Dress run by Annabel, one of the loveliest ladies in the industry, has featured a plethora of inspiration this week including this stunning shoot for Jannie Baltzer‘s beautiful headpieces. I was absolutely mesmerized by these incandescent images, inspired by romantic paintings from yesteryear:

~ Tangerine Tango is the Pantone colour of the year and, as a result, the colour on everybody’s lips but I have to confess I’m not orange’s biggest fan. But I am a fan of the creative inspiration boards over on Pocketful of Dreams and loved Michelle’s fabulous interpretation of Tangerine Tango.

~ Did you know that the blog formerly known as Bijoux Bride run by the lovely Louise, has relaunched as Bloved Weddings? And she’s kicked off 2012 with some AMAZING giveaways for UK residents ~ including a styled love shoot in Paris!
Over on the other side of the pond, there were some seriously gorgeous happenings on some of my favourite US blogs too:
~ 100 Layer Cake brightened up my January blues with this sunshine yellow and grey Palm Springs wedding that looked like SUCH fun!

~ Wedding Chicks shared this intimate, blush pink, backyard wedding. I really loved the bride’s write up, she described their wedding as ‘an elopement with their closest family and friends’. Also you’ve gotta love a bride and groom on a Vespa!

~ The ever creative and inspiring Green Wedding Shoes featured this little gem of a shoot. I adore the 70s vibe and mustard, green and red pallette. Also have you ever seen a tambourine as a cake stand? Thought not.

Finally, this link I’m loving isn’t wedding related but it is from the rather fabulous Glitter Guide, my go to blog when I’m in need of a pick me up: 10 Ways To Sparkle More In 2012. Because we all need to be good to ourselves (and others) so we can be at our sparkly, fabulous best!
Ooooh one more thing, I just posted the sweetest story of a proposal that was 5 years in the making over on the Bridal Musings Facebook page. Yes, you did read that right…5 YEARS people!
Have a great weekend, au revoir!
