Welcome to the weekend!

Here's this week's good stuff…

Firstly, I attended the launch event for the UK's first online magazine, Reverie Magazine, on Thursday evening ~ it was wonderful to catch up with familiar faces and make some lovely new wedding industry pals over pink and peach cocktails. Congratulations to Mary and Kate on a fantastic magazine and event.

If you haven't already, you really must lose yourself in the beauty of Reverie Magazine for a while. Stylishly designed with photography from the likes of Max WangerElizabeth MessinaCaught the LightPolly Alexandre and Aneta Mak as well as a DIY project from those fabulous 100 Layer Cake girls. It's a must read!

~ UK lovelies, if you haven't seen Legally Blonde yet I suggest you hot foot it down to the Savoy Theatre with your maids. I saw it a few nights ago and it was such girly fun! From the cringeworthy 90s fashion to the ridiculous story line (boy dumps blonde girl in pink because she's not serious enough, girl gets into Harvard law school to win him back).

Some of the musical numbers are brilliant such as ‘Is he gay or European?' and the DHL delivery man's ‘package' will have you stitches…

Oh and there are two adorable dogs that make a few appearances on stage too!

~ There are some fantastic Hen Party Activity Packages ~ including a make up class at a top London make up school or cocktail making class at Dirty Martini (I've had a few cocktails there myself, it's fab) all with complimentary bubbly!

Ok, back to my fab finds on the internet…

Giant flowers instead of bouquets? Yes please!

~ Fabulous make up artist Mariam Jensen shared her bridal make up master-class and answered lots of bride's beauty questions over on Rock My Wedding. A great post!

Rock N Roll Bride shares a cautionary tale from a bride who regretted asking a friend instead of a professional photographer to take her wedding photos ~ she even includes some of her dark, blurry, low quality wedding photos.

~ Hello hot pink flowers!

I like that Ruffled included a flower guide ~ I never know the names of flowers…in fact, I'd really love to go on a flower course this year!

Are you planning on taking any courses this year? Or will it be wedding, wedding, wedding for you? I get it, I couldn't think of anything else until after August 1st 2010.

Whatever you're up to this weekend, have a good one!
