Good morning everybody!

I hope you had wonderful weekends. Did you get lots of wedding planning done or perhaps attend a wedding show?

Mine started out fabulously on Friday with the Designer Wedding Show, where the catwalk was filled with feminine, floaty and luxurious lace gowns, including the wonderful Sassi Holfords creations. (Who I got to catch up with and apologize to again for being such an indecisive bride. It was lovely to see Chesca of accessories company, Dolecka, again too!)

Matthew Williamsons new, perfectly bohemian bridal collection and Temperlys intricately embellished wedding gowns were a highlight of the DWS for me, as was having my name hand calligraphed by the incredibly talented (and poetic) Paul Antonio.

The evening was a blur of cocktails, dinner, bowling and lovely conversations with some of my favourite people in the wedding industry. (In case you're wondering, it was a close call but I won ~ they don't call me ‘Elizabeth Twinkle Toes' for nothing!) However the rest of my weekend was spent in bed with the dreaded lurgy. You win some you lose some eh?

This morning's post is a bit of a mish mash of things really…

~ Just in case you missed the exquisite navy, peach, white and gold wedding I featured on Friday here's Part 1 and Part 2.

To be honest, I just wanted an excuse to share Bri's hair with you. Again. Because it's beyond gorgeous.

~ Has Cupid struck yet?

If not, you'll find a plethora inspiration over on bloved weddings where I'm guest posting for the lovely Louise with a Hearts and Arrows inspiration board. As you know, hearts are a particular weakness of mine at this time of year.

~ Things tend to get a bit mushy around Valentine's Day but talented art director and motion designer Gunther Gheeraerts interpretation of love is oh so cool. Just a bunch of young, stylish couples hanging out in Paris to an awesome soundtrack. As you do.

Doesn't it just make you want to celebrate being in love?! No need for romantic candle lit dinners and boxes of chocolates, all you need is each other. Oh and if you believe the advert – the perfect gift too.

(Fun Fact: Gunther and his girlfriend are The Hipster couple!) What's your couple style?

~ And finally, I've got another film you simply must see…it is quite possibly the sweetest proposal EVER involving a game of scrabble in a local cafe/bookstore, sparklers and sneaky family and friends.

will you...? scrabble proposal story

Click here see it. The unsuspecting bride to be, Janis, is the creative lady behind one of my newest discoveries/obsessions, My Suitcase Heart ~ a blog filled with beautiful photography and words.

And I'm THRILLED to say that over the next couple of days I'll be sharing Janis and Mike's wedding story. I can't explain how perfectly hand made, laid back, cool and quirky it is ~ come back later today around 2pm (GMT) for the first installment. Trust me, you won't want to miss it!

You want a sneaky peek?

Ok…but only because I think you're fab.
