This week’s wedding dress of the week is the epitome of chic and unique.
It’s unlike any wedding dress I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen a lot…nope, not enough emphasis…I’ve seen A LOT!)
Collette Dinnigan‘s bridal designs a relatively new discovery of mine but they are fast becoming a firm favourite.
They are the perfect blend of romantic, feminine silhouettes and intricate embellishments.

Why I adore the Lattice Pearls Beaded Bodice Gown… see above. It’s truly one of the most unique dresses I’ve ever seen. The bodice reminds me a little of chain mail ~ I feel like a magpie drawn towards all the shiny detailing. The sweetheart neckline that lies beneath and the full, organza skirt create such an elegant, almost classic effect.
Perfect for… brides who dare to be different.
Team it with… a volumous ‘up do (like this one) a statement hairpiece and very little jewelry ~ let the bodice do all the talking!
Here is a real bride demonstrating just how lovely this dress can look at a real wedding. Surprisingly the netting on netting look of her birdcage veil plus the criss cross bodice works beautifully. She looks absolutely stunning.

as an Australian I always wanted a Collette Dinnigan for our wedding (although sadly the budget didn’t quite extend) and I think this is soooooo gorgeous and definitely wearable again for a black tie event… beautiful!
