Quirky & Colourful Retro Wedding Inspiration

Your Friday is about to get a whole lot more colourful!
This gorgeous shoot is full of retro 60s details, amazing florals and the brightest of colours.
I’m especially loving the pop of turquoise, polka dot lace wrapped around the bride’s bouquet!
If you’re thinking of wearing a short and sweet wedding or reception dress there’s three pretty dresses to swoon over. And short haired brides will surely be inspired by Emma’s chic red ‘do!
Tricia of Equinox Photo shares a little more about the shoot:
When we decided to do a styled bridal session at the Viceroy Santa Monica, we knew real life love birds Emma and Braden were the couple to feature. Sophie Mae and I had a blast styling and photographing this dreamy inspired photo session. We wanted to create a whimsical atmosphere featuring the art deco design of the Viceroy and the amazing floral talent of Briana Maxson Floral Design.
We styled the session around the vintage color scheme of turquoise, yellow and cream. The colors perfectly complimented Emma’s modern cocktail dresses by designers such as Vera Wang and Mason. We used vintage books and vases from Urban Barn Prop Rentals to add a bit of flair to our cupcake and cocktail tables.

It’s so refreshing to see a styled shoot featuring a real couple. Emma and Braden are so cute together and with such great chemistry!

BRAVO! You definitely achieved the vintage looks with the use of props like the old-fashioned binoculars and style of decor. We also enjoyed the pops of color that the flowers, vases and decor added to the scenery. The sweet intimacy also made this shoot great to look at! :)
