I got the sweetest tweet a few weeks ago that left me beaming for days afterwards.
A bride shared a photo of her wedding nails as inspired by this sparkly post. (They looked gorgeous.)
Then she told me that she’d read Bridal Musings throughout her wedding planning, and that I had been her ‘wedding angel’. How lovely is that?!
It is such a pleasure to share a glimpse into Susanna and Jack’s wonderful wedding with you today. It was a truly chic and unique day filled to the brim with love and music. Susanna is a musical director and singer so she worked alongside her talented friends and students to create a ‘Love Actually’ style choral masterpiece for their ceremony and even serenaded Jack! Amazing.
Susanna is a natural beauty, all glowing skin and big smiles. She looked stunning in a show-stopping, Swan Lake esque gown, braided up do and two pairs of covetable heels. (Silver Louboutins and blue suede shoes!) Her groom, Jack, and his groomsmen were decked out in the cutest handmade bouts with scrabble piece initials and Lego cufflinks. Jack also wore a deep red, oversized, velvet Lanvin bow tie.
It’s clear that these two are one seriously stylish couple. The fact that they hired the outrageously talented Studio 1208 to film their day? Well, that proves that they’re seriously smart too.
Here are a few stills from the film of their day, photos and a full feature will be coming shortly. Yipee!
Husband and wife photography and videography team Maria and Nick of Studio 1208 create the most beautiful imagery. It is always such an honour to share their work with you. And this trailer is one of their most beautiful yet!
Jack and Susanna’s love story started when they were 16 years old, they have grown up with each other and amongst each other’s families. Their wedding was a musical, incredible celebration of their love and the way in which Studio 1208 captured their day is nothing short of magical.
This is their wedding story, exquisitely told in reverse.
Sigh. Utterly beautiful don’t you think?
Many thanks to Susanna and Jack for giving us a gorgeous glimpse into your day and of course to Studio 1208.
