A Dreamy Rustic White & Green Wedding Shoot
Hello friends, are you ready to be inspired?
This dreamy, rustic, green and white wedding shoot is all kinds of lovely. Here’s why you’ll love it:
~ It’s overflowing with whispery soft baby’s breath inspired by the Twilight wedding in the woods.
~ The bride is effortlessly elegant in long, floaty sleeves and a braided up do.
~ There are more gorgeous green shades than you can shake a stick at (or a pitchfork).
~ Yes, there’s a pitchfork and a wheelbarrow involved. And some rather exquisite vintage candelabras.
~ There’s a beautiful, tawny horse.
~ It’s styled to rustic perfection by Pierre Carr Wedding and Event Design.
As you scroll through these gorgeous images, be sure to take in the beautiful surroundings and location.
Can guess where in the world this wedding inspiration shoot took place?
Want to know where?
Jamaica! Yes, this is a destination wedding shoot co-ordinated by Caribbean wedding and event design company, Pierre Carr.
It’s so refreshing to see ideas for a destination wedding that are not all about the beach, don’t you think?
Here’s Michelle with more about this unique and beautiful shoot in Jamaica:
Many of the islands in the Caribbean have lush greenery but little is seen of them as a wedding option.
As I wanted to step away from the beach I was looking for two things: I wanted an island with a varied landscape and I wanted to show off the history of the island by featuring a grand plantation house.
Jamaica came top of this list, as it not only has majestic mountains and cascading waterfalls but an abundance of fertile plains, which really show off its natural beauty.
Bellefield Great House and Estate, built in 1794, is one of the oldest sugar plantations in Jamaica and surrounded by every possible rustic element you could imagine. The Great House is so well maintained it still has all of the original items such as the drinking tankards, ceremonial benches, candelabras and glass vases which date back to the 1700s.
The gypsophila flowers were perfect to give a relaxed but dramatically pretty feel. While the Charlotte Casadejus ’Audrey’ dress with it’s flattering, flowy, silk georgette material and antique beading really illustrated a bygone era and fitted the theme beautifully.
Many thanks to Michelle of Pierre Carr and the creative team behind this charming shoot for sharing it with us today.

The ceremony flowers are soooo romantic. Beautiful. I definitely didn’t think it was set in Jamaica but once you know, you can see how exotic the plains look. xoxo
