I've got an intimate and classic wedding from Western Australia to share with you this afternoon.

Josh and Melanie had a simple ceremony underneath a big, beautiful old tree. The image of the newlyweds standing amidst the huge roots of the tree is just so wonderfully symbolic of marriage. Putting your roots down, weathering any storms that might come your way together and all that good stuff.

Their adorable dalmatian was present at their ceremony as well as a curious herd of black swans (yes they do actually exist) who also complimented their black and white colour scheme perfectly!

This wedding is so darn chic from the groom's bow tie and tux to the bride's chic bun, pearls and protea bouquet yet I love how relaxed their day is too, including a romantic, carefree, barefoot stroll along the beach after the couple said ‘I do'.

Many congratulations to Josh and Melanie!

It's always such a pleasure featuring Carly of C J Williams Photography dreamy photography, check out more of her gorgeous work on Bridal Musings here:

So…who else is getting married under a big, beautiful old tree then? And is that the first time you've seen a black swan too?!
