DIY Gold And Glitter Dipped Feathers
Many moons ago* I shared lots of pretty and unique ways to incorporate feathers into weddings ~ from bouquets to boutonnieres, fascinators to favors.
I also shared my Top 10 Feather DIY Tutorials so you lovely lot could get your craft on.
Well, here I am again, sharing two more floaty, fluffy, feathery DIY tutorials because, dear friends, I think you’ll agree with this equation…

Feathers Dipped In Gold Paint DIY
For example, behold James of Bluebird Vintages rock n roll / Southwest style wedding decor ~ black feathers dipped in gold paint strung from the ceiling of the barn over the dance floor.
What a magnificent, magical site!

Why not add a little sparkle to the mix?
Michelle of Michelle, Ryan and Ellie Mae ,who also happens to be a gorgeous Bridal Musings bride (Whoop!), shares a step by step tutorial on how to create gold and glitter dipped feather garlands.

Beautiful aren’t they?

Glitter Feathers DIY
Over on the awesome Australian arts and craft magazine Frankie, Anabela of Fielguided shares her simple tutorial on how to make these oh so dreamy glitter feathers.
All you need is a glue stick and some glitter!
She also shares some unique ideas on how to use them.
I especially love the idea of tying the feathers to a balloon ~ they’d make a fab addition to these Geronimo style big round balloons.

Once you’ve made your sparkly feathers they can be used to create delicate garlands, hair clips, earrings or even to jazz up a bouquet or centerpieces. They’d also make pretty place settings attached to a length of rustic twine and wrapped around each guest’s napkin.
Will you be incorporating glittery feathers into your wedding decor?
Or perhaps you’ll use them as unique gift packaging?
Brown paper packages tied up with string plus a couple of sparkly, gold dipped white feathers perched on top would be delightful!
