We're back in Brighton again today, friends!

I can't get enough of this quirky, English seaside town and it's residents this week. (Evidence here)

It seems to be the epicenter of all things unique, creative and just downright lovely, including these handmade, vintage inspired wedding dresses by Brighton based Oh My Honey.

If you're looking for a 50s inspired wedding dress with a modern, playful twist, then you are going to fall in love with the new Oh My Honey Wedding Collection!

The collection is full of short and chic wedding dresses (and one long, glamourous silk creation) that are perfect for brides who want a feminine 1950s silhouette on their big day. Think nipped in waists and full skirts with lots of pretty petticoats and Marilyn Monroe esque figure hugging gowns.

The collection ranges from an amazingly affordable £250 to a reasonable £1,600 (approximately $400 – $2570) and is available internationally too.

What I love most about the new collection are the barely there pastel hues and delicate details such as dip dyed pale pink silk, ivory polka dots, ice blue satin bows, chic lace sleeves, scattered diamante crystals and intricate beading.

A few weeks ago, Louise, the talented (and ever so lovely) designer behind Oh My Honey threw a delightfully decadent party to celebrate the launch of her new bridal collection at the The Fun Fair club in Brighton.

Having admired Oh My Honey dresses from afar previously, I relished the opportunity to see the new wedding collection up close and I'm happy to report that the dresses were even more beautiful in person and the party was choc FULL of fabulous!

There was a contortionist, a burlesque dancer, an incredible dessert bar (featuring delicious chai cupcakes) by Crumbs Couture, vintage make up artists prettifying the partygoers and a bevvy of beautiful models strutting, floating and sauntering through the club in some of the loveliest vintage inspired wedding dresses you ever did see. *

The unique styling, funky flowers, colourful make up and sweet treats all compliment the playful and pretty vibe of the Oh My Honey Wedding Collection perfectly. Yet there is a wonderfully dark and mysterious undertone to the whole shoot.

These creative, fun and beautiful photos by Babb Photo were taken inside The Fun Fair club, where one of the rooms has it's own ball pit. It's rare to find a genuinely unique concept for a photo shoot but I can honestly say that I've never seen a bridal shoot in a ball pit before! Have you?

How spooktastic is that? I was totally and utterly mesmerized.

Many thanks to Louise of Oh My Honey and the rest of the creative team behind this awesome shoot and film for sharing them with us, it's such been a pleasure featuring the new wedding collection!

Check out the Oh My Honey website and Facebook page for more info on this gorgeous collection of dresses.

So, which is your favourite?

I'm rather smitten with the pretty pink prom dress style with exquisite, sparkly detailing on the bodice. (It's called Hannah by the way.)
