Dove Grey, Blush Pink & Gold Wedding Inspiration

Rose of Rose and Ruby Paper Co is back with a sumptuous, wedding inspiration board filled with a few of my favourite things ~ ruffles, dove grey, blush pink and macaroon pops.
(Forget cake pops and pie pops, 2013 is all about the macaron pop!)

Inspired by my love of mixing gold and silver tones with super pale elegant washes of colour.
I love the way flashes of gold can turn delicate pale washes into a really elegant classy and expensive look. It is a great way to create a classic soft dreamy look without feeling princessy or pastel sweet.

To recreate this look at your wedding:
~ Pick one or two colour accents but keep them soft.
~ Try and use whites / cream / ivories as your backdrops for linens etc. and don’t be afraid to mix and layer white tones.
~ Stick to palest tonal flowers – ruffley, layered, fit to burst petal styles work best with this look: peonies, roses, stocks and even carnations for a cheaper option.
~ Don’t be afraid to mix gold and silver accents. This really pulls the look together and makes it feel expensive.

Dove grey and blush pink is the colour theme for my wedding in August! When I describe it I get weird looks but I think it’s going to look beautiful! Thanks so much for proving I was right ;) xxx
