Happy Friday lovelies!

It's been a difficult and hectic week here at Bridal Musings HQ – Zee and I have been living in temporary accommodation as the damage to our flat has been so severe.  We've spent our days trying to get our deposit back (with no luck yet!) and attempting to salvage our belongs, interspersed with lots of flat hunting.

There was also an Apple genius bar appointment for my drenched Macbook Air that broke my heart a little.*

Thankfully, there is light at the end of the tunnel as we've found somewhere rather lovely to live for the next few months that's within our budget. Whoop!

And today I get to share one my favourite engagement shoots EVER.

Take one gorgeous, loved up couple, add a motorcycle and a vintage airplane, throw in some glitter, plaid, 70s esque leather jackets, vintage suitcases and a whole lot of adventure and you've got yourself one amazing shoot. Especially with Lauren Fair Photography behind the lens!

Here's what Lauren had to say about the shoot:

Julie and Shane met at a study abroad fair in college, got engaged in Morocco (on a camel ride!) on Julie’s break from studying abroad in Italy, and are planning a honeymoon to Colombia, so a travel theme was only appropriate for their engagement shoot! We used vintage planes, Shane's 70s motorcycle, maps and binoculars to convey the “Love is an Adventure” theme!

Huge congratulations to Julie and Shane, wishing you all the best with your wedding plans. Hope you enjoy this all new adventure!

Thanks to Lauren Fair Photography for sharing this awesome shoot with us today. It has brightened up my week no end. I absolutely love it.

Who knew gold glitter and red check work so well together?!

So tell me, are you and your love planning a travel themed engagement shoot?
