Happy Saturday!

Have you missed your weekly fix of Rose and Ruby Paper Co. ‘s delightful wedding inspiration boards? I know I have. Lots.

This board makes me fall in love with purple all over again and it makes me marvel at how similar my taste and Rose's taste in all things weddings are!

I'm so thrilled to have Rose as a contributor, if you're a fan of her boards too please be sure to leave her some love in the comments.

Powder Blue & Lavender Wedding Inspiration

These tones are so pretty without being overly feminine and have a really lovely bohemian feel without looking too “rustic”.

It’s a beautifully elegant palette for setting off an original vintage gown and looks fabulous with neutrals and soft old fashioned prints and patterns.

Styling Tips To Recreate This Look At Your Wedding

– Build your palette with similar tones, pale powdery blues, wisterias and lavenders – and carry this through into flowers: Lavender, ranunculus, hyacinths, heathers and lilacs.

– Recycle an heirloom dress or look for original vintage pieces – soft shift shapes and elegant 30s styles work beautifully.

– Try the most delicate print or subtle brocade for your bridesmaids – it adds subtle detail and can look really pretty! And if your groom is feeling brave why not try a subtle printed shirt. This can look gorgeous especially if the rest of his look is kept formal.
