The week before last I had the pleasure of featuring Perfect Event's luxe black and gold 1920s inspired wedding shoot at The Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, London.

Well, today wedding planner and stylist Nicole Adeyale of Perfect Events and her talented team treat us to another decade of style – 1950s Hollywood Glamour – and share creative new ways to use the luxurious spaces at The Connaught.

I'm partuicularly loving the rich palette of plum, dark red, raspberry, fuchsia and blush pink.

It's pink ombre in it's most sophisticated form, wouldn't you agree?

Oh and I adore the Veronica Lake esque Vintage Waves, of course.

This decadent shoot photographed by Bandele Zuberi contains a collection of ‘1950s Hollywood Glamour’ inspired pieces from the divinely lovely ‘Angelina’ dress by Sassi Holford, the ‘Babette’ gown so full of grace and elegance by Bruce Oldfield, as well as heavenly heels by luxury shoe designers Aruna Seth and Gina.

Also featured are gilded pink cakes and sweet treats by Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium, amazing cascading blooms by Wild About, immaculate makeup by the talented Alison Cameron and hair styled to perfection by Kasia Fortuna. And not forgetting the beautiful behind the scenes film by luxury cinematographer Deneemotion. Which you can watch here.

Many thanks to Nicole of Perfect Events and the rest of the creative team behind this beautiful shoot for sharing it with us today. If you missed the luxe 1920s black and gold wedding inspiration– hop over for even more high octane glamour.
