I'm so honoured to share this styled shoot with you today – it's fresh, chic, colourful, creative and all in aid of a wonderful cause.

London based purveyors of delicious artisan macarons, Anges de Sucre, are launching a limited edition collection of macarons in memory of founder, Reshmi Bennet's close friend, Nina, who tragically lost her life to cancer at the young age of 27 earlier this year.

They have chosen to support Macmillan Cancer Support through company donations and fundraising cocktail and macaron pairing events.

Reshmi explains:

As Nina was such a fan of cocktails and fun times it was only fitting that the range included boozy and colourful swirly cocktail flavoured macarons such as Pina Colada, Mojito and Cosmopolitan! Each flavour is created using fresh fruit, fine Belgian chocolate, and premier liqueurs such as Cointreau, Malibu, and Angostura Bitters.

Cocktails & Macarons Styled Shoot

To celebrate the launch of the cocktail infused collection and to inspire all you brides, party planners and lovers of pretty, Anges de Sucre collaborated with a talented team of creatives to style a vibrant, colour filled photoshoot in Nina's memory.

Anneli Marinovich Photography, Boutique Blooms, BerinMade and our very own wedding planning guru, Always Andri Wedding Design, all donated their time and skill for the cause to produce a shoot inspired by Nina’s fun-loving spirit.

Think Kate Spade meets Carmen Miranda (in a cocktail bar). There's gold sprayed pineapples, colourful florals, playful laser lettering, fruity cocktails, stripes-a-plenty and, of course, delicious macaroons!

I think this would make such a gorgeously girly and fun hen party, bridal shower or bachelorette theme!

Amazing no? Such a beautiful and thoughtful tribute to a treasured friend.

Head over to bloved to see more from the shoot and to get some top styling tips for creating your own chic and colourful celebration.

And be sure to stay tuned to Bridal Musings as throughout the week I'll be sharing a zesty, Anges de Sucre speciality cocktail recipe as well as a DIY tutorial on how to make floral ice cubes!

Macmillan Cancer Support

Carole Heffernan, Local Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support, thanked Anges de Sucre for its contribution, saying, “Macmillan Cancer Support provide emotional, financial, and practical help to the 2 million people living with a cancer diagnosis in the UK today. Last year our benefits service reached 95,000 people across the UK in need of financial advice, our healthcare professionals gave 527,068 people much needed face to face support and we gave £10.7 million in grants to over 31,716 people affected by cancer. 97% of our income comes from loyal and committed supporters, such as Anges de Sucre and without their support we would not be able to continue the work that we do.”

It's a sad fact that this disease has no doubt touched all our lives in some way so please show your love and support in any way you can and help spread the word about the great work Macmillan Cancer Support does.

This limited edition gift box is set to be launched in October 2013 and will be available to buy from www.angesdesucre.com.

I think they'd make great bridesmaids gifts, don't you?! I mean what a perfect combination – cocktails and macarons. Yum!
