Exclusive First Look At The Katie May Bridal Collection Fall 2013

I've got such a treat for you all today!

An exclusive first look at Katie May's Fall 2013 bridal collection launching at Bridal Market in New York in a couple of weeks.

And it's just as gorgeous as you'd expect from the talented designer.

Earlier this year I happened to be in the right place (LA) at the right time (a few weeks before this beautiful shoot) so I got the chance to meet Katie first hand and she even modelled her exquisite new collection for me!

And, although it will seem impossible to believe as you scroll down through these dreamy photos – the dresses are even lovelier in person.

From The Designer…

This new collection has a quality of romanticism created with nostalgic references to silhouettes and softness in fabrics. I found inspiration from the movie Emma and from the late Caroline Kennedy – imagining how to design this collection that would conjure a feeling of modernity for bridal. I wanted movement in fabrics, feminine silhouettes, and dramatic touches braided through this collection, while keeping it deeply rooted in our signature sexy aesthetic.

The collection is built using incredible craftsmanship seen with our use of French seaming, baby hems, and constructed necklines. The laces and trims splashed throughout this collection were sourced from one of the premier French Chantilly mills, which we paired with different weights of chiffon to create a fanciful, not fussy, feeling.

I believe the range of this collection will capture the attention and hearts of many nontraditional brides looking for something spectacular to wear on their wedding day.
