I've got a weekend treat to share with you all today, some more beautiful barn wedding inspiration!
This real wedding was documented beautifully by Jez Dickson Photography and filmed to sweet perfection by Reel Love Films.
Annalise and Peter's wedding was filled with gorgeously glam elements – think chandeliers, ribbons, pearls, lace and Louboutins but all in the relaxed, intimate and rustic barn setting of Gaynes Park in Essex. The best of both worlds, if you ask me.
And just wait until you see Annalise's wedding dress! Jaws must have dropped on the day. She looked stunning in her feminine, figure hugging fishtail gown (showing off her teeny, tiny, envy inducing waist) teamed with a delicate lace cap sleeved jacket, smokey eye make up and tumbling blonde curls.
The Colour Palette
We chose muted peach, blush and cream. We didn't want anything too matchy matchy and wanted to reflect Spring's pastel palette. 
The Attire
My gown was called ‘Wicked game’ by Stuart Parvin from The Bespoke Wardrobe and I hired a lace jacket from them too. I wore ‘Jasmine’, a belt by Stewart Parvin for the evening & ‘Very Prive' nude shoes by Christian Louboutin.
The girls all had blush/peach dresses from Warehouse which were a bargain at £75, I found nude shoes with jewel detail from Next and cuff style bracelets from Accessorize to draw it together.
Peter wore a grey three-piece suit, peach raw silk tie and pocket square from Terence Hill tailors in Chelmsford.
The Ceremony
Peter's Dad read ‘In your arms’ by Deborah Bridea which was just perfect for us and his sisters read Corinthians.
The Photography
Jez Dickson was utter perfection and captured the light and love of the day beautifully.
The Flowers
For my bouquet we had cream/peach roses in a small bouquet so as not to overshadow the dress, I had silk ribbon bows to accessorize, the girls had hydrangea pouffs tied with lace to reflect my dress and match theirs and the flower girls had rose pomanders with lace ribbon. The button holes were all simple cream roses, for our mum’s corsage we added sweet pea to set them apart.
Décor & Details
We used our stylist to add chandeliers to the main barn and dotted around the trees outside, they draped the interior and added lace runners and a pearl backdrop to the interior. Lovelight projected a ‘Mr & Mrs’ on to the barn wall and we had soft pink lighting to the barn. We had lots of candles in hurricane lamps dotted around also.
Our only DIY was adding the pom poms to decorate our sweet buffet.
The Refreshments
We headed to our family pub a short walk from the church for some quick refreshments, we served a small buffet of sandwiches, cakes and macaroons before everyone made way to Gaynes Park. We served kir royale champagne cocktails and a variety of canapes including mini hamburgers, fish and chips and carpacio of beef. The meal was three courses comprising of goats cheese, fillet of beef and lemon tart.
The evening buffet was chilli, nachos and Jacket potatoes with a sweet buffet of m&m’s, sweets. macaroons, biscuits and lollies. The cake was fruit, vanilla and chocolate.
Favourite Moments
Walking out of the church as man & wife to a flurry of confetti. Having the time to chat to all of our guests and dancing with my new husband. My proudest moment was Peter’s speech. It took my breath away.
Music
I walked down the aisle to Bitter Sweet Symphony and we had Mr Brightside whilst signing the register & left the church to Hoppipolla all by the string quartet.
Our first dance was ‘Use somebody’ the Laura Jansen version – we have ‘someone like you’ etched into our wedding bands.
Unique/Special Details
We love village life and chose to walk from the church the family pub which incorporated somewhere we go for family occasions into our special day. We kept the guest list small so we could look around and say we love everyone in this room. We did everything our way.
Advice for other couples
We had a mid week wedding so were able to negotiate with our vendors. We also found all of our guests happy to attend a mid week wedding. Reggie at The Bespoke Wardrobe was amazing at helping me chose my wedding dress and create my bridal look. Choosing the bridesmaids dresses from the high street saved a fortune too.
