Happy weekend folks!

First up, we have to send our love, thoughts and best wishes to the wonderful Gemma & Tom who get married today. Gemma is the illustrator, stationery designer, and inspired bride behind our regular Real Bride Diary. Keep your eyes peeled for a sneak peek of her wedding coming soon.

This week has been a jam-packed one here at Bridal Musings.

We got ankle-deep in the swoon-worthy new barefoot trend, we guided you through our epic A-Z of Honeymoons, we had a chat with hot new stylist on the block, Sundari of The Wedding Stylist, and we fell head of heels for the Amalfi Coast with Johnny and Nastasia‘s dreamy real wedding.

And that's only the start of this week's inspiration.

And speaking of inspired, our resident queen of the colour palette (and creator of beautiful paper goods) Rose of  Rose and Ruby Paper Co. is back this week, with some crisp, chic, sophisticated and swoon-worthy wedding inspiration.

Take it away Rose.

Fresh Love; New Mint and Anemone Inspiration Board

I’m still really loving mint for weddings and this palette keeps it looking fresh and elegant.

The 1920s Biltmore Ballroom in Atlanta is just the perfect inspiration for this palette.

To Recreate:

• Keep it classic with anemone accents paired with all your pretty details. The black centres add an air of sophistication and stop the palette looking too pastel.

• This sumptuous look cries out for a dramatic dress. Go all out on the frills and embellishments!

• Your venue is a great way to set the tone for this palette. If you can’t find a perfectly beautiful minty ballroom then think creatively about your ceremony backdrop. Painted wooden doors, a natural cascading wall of Spanish moss or even beautifully draped fabric can all lend the right tones.

• Finish with cut glass table accessories and chandeliers for lots of sparkle.
