It’s Day Two of our week-long look at the most exciting collections from Bridal Fashion Week.

Yesterday we treated you to Mongolian cashmere and Aran knits from Theia, but today it’s all about cool separates and rockstar ruffles with Houghton Bridal.

Houghton Bridal is a New York label that’s synonymous with creating fearless looks for fashion forward brides. And while their new Fall/Winter 2015 dresses are a little more romantic than previous collections, they’ve still got the edge and style we know and love.

From tulle skirts that fans of Olivia Palermo’s wedding day look will love, to luxe jumpsuits for dames who adore trousers, and glamorous midi dresses for chic city brides, to cool shirt dresses for true bohemians, if you want a look that will set you apart, this collection is loaded with unique wedding ensembles.

Here’s what the team at Houghton had to say about their striking new bridal collection.

Tulle, ruffles and crystals are not the details you expect to see at Houghton Bride, but when styled with an ivory leather and rabbit-lined motorcycle jacket or a detachable high low tulle skirt shown over a silk romper, tradition goes out the window.

Think SJP meets Katharine Hepburn and you’ve got Houghton Bride Fall Winter ‘15 collection. Continuing the tone of her most recent RTW collection, Designer Katharine Polk turned to powder blue silks and metallic statement pieces.

Powder pink laser cut silk ruffles and hand embroidered fabrics imported from Switzerland and India and crystals from Swarovski, complete Houghton’s fun and fearless take on bridal fashion.

Such a cool collection, right? Those jackets are awesome. I love the lace numbers and shirt dresses, such a different look for a laid back bride.
