No spoilers please! I've only just started watching it. (But I'm already addicted!)
Equally obsessed with the ABC show, is Ontario-based wedding planner, Roxanna Duncan of Love Fete Weddings and Events.
She couldn't stop imagining what Olivia and Fitz's wedding might look like, and instead of holding out for another few series, she decided to take matters into her own hands, with a stylish, seductive, Scandal-themed wedding inspiration shoot.
She teamed up with the talented Brian Reilly Photography, and a host of creative vendors to envision a “Life After The White House” inspired wedding, a rustic, luxe, intimate celebration for the show's first couple.
Glamorous, romantic and gorgeous, we think this would-be wedding for Fitz and Olivia has hit the mark pretty perfectly, whether you're a fan of the show, or planning your own relaxed presidential party.

Before you feast your eyes on this amazing Scandal wedding, we'll let the fabulous Roxanna of Love Fete Events tell us a bit more about this special shoot.
From The Event Stylist
Like many other fans of ABC’s hit political drama, Scandal, I’m sure we’ve all fantasized and asked ourselves “what would Fitz and Liv’s wedding be like?”
As the eagerly anticipated 4th season premiered in September, I was on a mission to bring this fantasy to life.
We borrowed some key elements from the show that would appeal to those who are true “gladiators” but also provided visual inspiration for those who aren’t.
From the gorgeous stationery design to the amazing cake, there is a lot to be inspired by.
The focus was on a particular scene and ongoing fantasy in Scandal where main characters, Olivia Pope and Fitzgerald Grant, fantasize about life after the White House in their home in Vermont.
The shoot was designed to be an intimate affair where Presidential black tie meets rustic elegance all brought together with a warm neutral colour palette: blush & winter whites with gold & black accents. It is classic, traditional and elegant femininity with an edge, that accurately reflects the style and characters of the show but can easily translate to any newly engaged couple.
The Stationery
Stationery was illustrated and designed by the super talented Tammy of Inviting Creativity.
She hid little gems like a delicious menu which would intrigue the French cuisine loving Olivia Pope, the signature drink named “The Olitz”, an invite addressed to character Liv’s associate, Harrison Wright, in Washington and a Vermont return address.
The Decor
To keep with the Scandal Vermont wedding theme, “homemade” jam jars from Creative Bags with DIY tags reflecting the couples classic “hi” greeting were used as the favours.
The beautiful linen, cutlery and cocoa chiavari chairs brought in from Chairman Mills, were garnished with gorgeous décor, accessories and lots of candles from Anne & Co, Home Sense and Target.
The gold books, which fit the colour palette, were a nod to Fitz and Liv’s academic background in Law.
The stunning cake by Michelle of Cakes by Mish was elegant and highlighted the lace accents familiar of the main character.
The Attire
Sarah Houston boutique provided the two stunning gowns.
By day, the bride wore a modern peplum gown with a romantic, side swept up-do and natural but modern make-up by Jennifer & Naomi of Blush Pretty accented by breathtaking necklace, bracelet and ring by The Diamond Studio which added the touch of sparkle that every girl dreams of.
By night, she changed into a more romantic sheath gown letting down her hair into loosely curled locks decorated with stunning Sarah Houston earrings and bracelet.
Looking stunning next to her handsome beau in black on black striped suit decked out with the finest watch & ring from the Diamond Boi himself, Nuno.
The Photography
The old world feel with a subtle modern twist of the Berkeley Church with its low lit, dramatic atmosphere was no match for photography guru Brian Reilly who found natural light and pockets of overwhelming character to set the tone.
And the models, Olivia & Michael, were perfect for the shoot and willing to really get into character even if that meant getting a little risqué for the sake of gorgeous photos and the passion that the show’s “Olitz” relationship exudes.
So romantic! I love weddings that bring together different feels and styles, especially when it's both rustic and intimate then a little opulent and glamorous – such a chic combination. It's gorgeous whether you're a Scandal addict or not!
