They say the greatest love stories start out in friendship.
And that's exactly true of Veronica & Chris. A stylish couple who married with an elegant winter wedding in Michigan, nine years after they first met.
Their Grand Rapids celebration was beautifully captured by The Jon Hartman Photography Co.
With a cosy fur cover-up, a mermaid-style wedding dress, the most sparkly Kate Spade shoes and a white and silver bouquet (we love the idea of dusty miller in a winter arrangement), Veronica made such a gorgeous and glamorous bride, beaming alongside her dashing groom Chris, in his custom suit.
After a romantic church ceremony, a sophisticated soiree at the Imperial Ballroom of the Amway Grand followed, with luxe decor, gilded hues and evergreen foliage.
It might be the middle of the summer here in London, but this wedding has us craving that festive sparkle already!

Our Love Story
Chris and I met in 2006 when we were interning over the summer, north of Chicago.
We were actually both in relationships, and attending different colleges at the time, but remained really close friends over the years with trips to visit eachother and weekly phone calls that seemed to confuse everyone because we were truly just really great friends.
If Chris were to tell this story, he will tell you that he had a big crush on me the entire time, and in 2010 Chris invited me as a date to his brother’ s wedding, and since then, we have been pretty much inseparable.
Isn't it beautiful – I just love how happy they look! And I'd almost forgot how much I adore winter weddings, such a good opportunity for a little luxury and glamour.
