While we’re not ones to encourage brides to see their wedding as a chance to be a princess for a day, (being a super special version of yourself for a day, is pretty awesome in itself!), we do know that many people getting married have been picturing that quintessential fairytale wedding since they were kids.
And if you’re the kind of person who dreams of a wedding day worthy of Cinderella, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, or even Kate Middleton, then this inspiration shoot is the one for you!

About the Shoot
An elegant and classic Dutch ballroom wedding inspiration…
This styled shoot is inspired by its location, Wereldmuseum, which was once the yacht club of Prince Hendrik of the Netherlands. With beautiful high ceilings, golden ornaments and chandeliers, it is the most iconic, classic-styled building of Rotterdam.
I pictured a girl embracing her new life, perhaps to become a princess. She overlooks the window while waiting for her prince, gazes in the mirror and dreams for the romance to come. ‘Classic, grace, and elegance’ are the key words.
The gown is a feminine and elegant piece, with lace details on the shoulders and the back. Hair and makeup was kept natural and effortless, with a focus on eyelashes and pink lips.
I believe every woman is a princess on her own and can relate to this classic, elegant wedding idea in some way.
So pretty, right? I just love how soft and romantic it all is, from the decor to the dress to the photography.
Thanks so much to Chymo & More Photography for sharing such a beautiful inspiration shoot with us.
