It's not news that technology has been changing the way we live and work for some time now, but over the last few years, it's been making more and more of an impact in how we plan our weddings too.
There are the obvious tools like wedding websites, paperless invites, Etsy, Pinterest, wedding day hashtags and of course, wedding blogs. But there are also more subtle things like how weddings are captured, planning technologies, and the quality and kinds of decor and goods available around the world.
We even had our first Tinder wedding on the blog a few weeks back!
And today, we've got a shoot on the blog, all the way from San Francisco (where else!) that celebrates elegant modern style and new wedding tech.
Photographed by Augie Chang, planned by Amazáe Events (who specialise in Bay Area tech events), and featuring some exciting online and tech vendors, the gorgeous shoot celebrates the idea of sharing economy.
Marking the 200th episode of the newly renamed Bridechilla Podcast, our fave wedding podcast, (and another awesome wedding resource we have the internet to thank for!) later this month, many of the vendors involved will take part in an epic wedding giveaway (so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for how to enter!)

About the Shoot
Technology is rapidly changing how today’s brides and grooms are planning their weddings and nowhere is it more apparent than in the capital of tech – San Francisco.
Last week, 27 wedding companies gathered in San Francisco’s newest venue, located in the hip startup-filled Dogpatch, to create a styled wedding that showcases the latest in wedding tech, including online bridal rentals, 3D printed décor, online stationary, and cool gadgets for the day of (like the world’s first wall stick camera).

Isn't it gorgeous? I love the white blooms next to the lucite seating, geometric details and mixed metallics, such cool contrasts.
It's pretty great to take stock of all the ways tech has made weddings more fun, personalised, and easy to plan – imagine having to phone a florist (on your landline) or go into an *actual shop* to buy your accessories!
