This beautiful wedding film is such a showcase for Greek weddings. Think Mamma Mia, but a million times more gorgeous (and with a lot less cheesy singing!).
The stunning islands, the sense of remoteness, the food, the florals, the great style and the romance; we love seeing wedding films from different parts of the world and Greek wedding films always have a sense of the epic about them.
And Vinia & Vangelis’ wedding film by Phosart Photography & Cinematography is no different.
The couple – who celebrate their first wedding anniversary this week, Happy Anniversary guys! – held their wedding on the scenic Aegean island of Sifnos, with a traditional Orthodox ceremony at sunset and fun poolside party under the stars.
Their film really captures the sense of occasion, the journey for all their friends and family to gather for their big day, and all the festivities of not just their wedding day, but the days around it too.
And as for the stolen moments of Vinia & Vangelis’ away from their guests, as I said, pretty epic!

It is always challenging to photograph and film a couple at the island of perfumes, like Sifnos is called.
Vinia and Vangelis contacted us a year before their wedding day and asked us to be with them at the beginning of this important and new chapter of their life, keeping alive all of their precious memories!
We were able to have our whole team on the island, consisting of two photographers, two cinematographers and the drone operator. We spent three days with the couple that won everyone’s heart by the simplicity and elegance, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful beaches with their friends.
Our six-copter drone did not fear the wind at the church of Chrissopigi and took unique shots of the whole day and the day of the after-wedding session.
Our cameras, with the latest technology, sensitive to light, but without the annoying, bright lights, won the challenge of the requirements that the night shots had, as we had to properly reflect the bright colours of the night, like the impressive fountains.
This destination wedding in Sifnos is so elegant and full of inspiration for every bride or groom-to-be!
