If there is one trend that we think (and hope) will endure in 2017, it’s the one for sustainable weddings.
It’s always encouraging when couples use their day to champion Fair Trade makers, reduce waste, and work with vendors who give back to their communities. And while we have featured some ethical weddings over the last couple of years, we haven’t seen as many sustainable shoots.
So we’re quite excited to kick off 2017 with a different kind of destination wedding inspiration, all the way from Nepal.
Captured by Norway-based, but worldwide traveling photographer, Ingvild Kolnes, this shoot is part of a photography workshop by The Beyond Workshop. They take photographers out of their comfort zones and equip them new with skills, all the while sharing alternative destinations for weddings and giving back to the communities they shoot in.
So while this shoot has a stunning backdrop, chic vintage style and beautiful table decor to inspire your own wedding or elopement, it’s also got a special story behind the scenes too…
