One of our favourite things about weddings, and wedding blogs, is how universal they are. No matter where you are in the world, or where a wedding is, you can always find inspiration, whether it’s in the style, the decor, or the food.

And today, we’ve got gorgeous inspiration, from one of our favourite international wedding blogs, Love4Weddings and Chic & Stylish Weddings (the latter is the English language version), all the way from gorgeous Greece.

Founder, Eleni Balkouli is a champion of Greek wedding talent, and showcases the best designers, suppliers, venues and photographers in the country.

One of the most exciting aspects of being the editor of Chic & Stylish Weddings and Love4Weddings, a wedding blog in Greece, is that I frequently have the amazing opportunity to coordinate styled shoots with the most talented wedding professionals in Greece.

When conceptualizing this particular styled shoot I wanted to curate an inspirational shoot that truly reflected the epically beautiful environment of the location.

The Island Art and Taste, a gorgeous venue located in the Athenian Riviera in Greece. Just like every styled shoot that I have coordinated for my wedding blog, I was so incredibly fortunate to collaborate with multi- talented professionals and I must say that their work surpassed all my original expectations.

This styled shoot is dear to my heart and as soon as I laid my eyes on the incredible images from photographer George Pahountis… I was in complete awe…

For the concept we wanted to combine modern luxurious elements with rustic, organic details and tie it all together with an abundance of florals and greenery… my favorite elements of the styled shoot.

The tablescape displayed an amazing floral design created by Kokkinos Flowers: a lush wedding table garland that was overflowing with aromatic herbs, eucalyptus leaves, pale mauve and ivory garden roses.

The table was also embellished with white candles and small delicate gold candle holders that added a glamorous touch.

The clear ghost chairs were the perfect choice since they gave the oak wooden table a more modern and yet luxurious feeling.

Aria Fine Catering definitely did an excellent job with all the tasting table that included a cheese platter, scrumptious bite size appetizers and not to mention the stunning elegant white wedding cake: a three tiered tall wedding cake adorned with gold hand-painted peony flowers that added dimension.

The beautiful gold foil wedding stationery truly reflected the style and modern botanical theme of the inspirational shoot.

The model looked breathtakingly gorgeous in the Costarellos weddings dresses: a romantic a-line wedding gown featuring a plunging v-neck beaded French lace bodice with a full tulle skirt and the other gorgeous wedding dress had silk Chantilly and polka dot tulle.

Hints of gold were added with the sophisticated bridal shoes handmade by Femme Fanatique.

The stunning engagement rings were amazing designs from Zolotas, one of the most famous jewerly companies in Greece. This styled shoot was so perfect I could not possibly ask for more…
