Light Celestial Luminosity; Luxe Summer Wedding Inspiration

Today we’ve got something a little bit different to share with you guys! A beautiful two part inspiration shoot, that contrasts between light and dark.

And first up, it’s all about the light, with glowing golds, space-like silvers, and lots and lots of white.

With luxurious yet contemporary gowns, and opulent yet natural tablescaping, this shoot sets out to inspire spring and summer weddings, but also has lots of ideas (like the unique mushroom detailing!) that could be used for the colder months of the year too.

Photographed by Abigail Steed Photography, with styling and art direction by fabulous duo, Erica of Mr & Mrs Unique and Alex of The Bijou Bride, this shoot features some pretty stellar English wedding talent.

Innovative, creative, and stylish but with lots of touches that more classic couples will love too – feel the sun on your skin, and be inspired by this atmospheric shoot.

An expert team of wedding suppliers headed to the extraordinary Elmore Court, an exclusive wedding venue set in the stunning Gloucestershire countryside.

Mr & Mrs Unique worked alongside Alex from The Bijou Bride on art direction. Alex said ‘Erica and I wanted to put our modern twist on a romantic star inspired wedding design and prove that the look can work equally well in the Spring/Summer months.

A feeling of luminosity was key so we worked with luscious satin linens, shimmering wedding dresses, custom dyed silk ribbons and a sprinkling of tiny copper lights to create a glowing effect.

Eighth & Autumn worked their magic combining geometric star motifs with clean fonts for our bespoke stationery suite. Another key to imparting the sense of the celestial were golden touches throughout from the tableware to the hand sprayed floral accents expertly crafted by Early Hours.

The predominant colour is brilliant white but flashes of golden tones and textures of grey to give the overall look depth and elegant wonder.’
