Oh I do love this time of year. Every Spring and every Autumn, New York Bridal Fashion Week treats us to new collections, stunning gowns and exciting trends – and we get to share them with you guys!
Over the next week, we’ll be bringing you some of our favourite wedding dress collections from NYC, and sharing our take on some of the biggest trends for 2018.
And first up, it’s Oscar De La Renta, who debuted their latest collection at The Morgan Library & Museum.
Synonymous with opulence, glamour and romance, the fashion house’s Spring 2018 offering didn’t disappoint, with the pretty floral embellishments, the soft textures and the most fabulous silhouettes – but that doesn’t mean this collection is all about classic bridal style.
Threadwork embroidery, spaghetti string straps, jumpsuit tailoring, fern leaf appliqué and plunging necklines give this elegant collection a truly modern feel.
This will be one for brides with contemporary couture tastes – and there’s a few treats in there for stylish little ones too…
