Today we’re treating you guys to a real wedding from one of the most stunningly beautiful parts of Ireland – County Kerry.
English bride Harriet and her Irish beau Tim headed back to the groom’s hometown in Ireland for a wedding celebration that was fun, relaxed, and so romantic.
Harriet set the tone for their day with her ethereal wedding dress, with the softest textures that just blew in the breeze. Her delicate bouquet tied in beautifully, as did her bridesmaids in pale lilac gowns and rosemary crowns in their hair. Tim and his gents looked equally stylish in sharp blue suits.
Their elegant setting in Muckross Park gave an opulent touch to their laid back party, with an abundance of florals and candleabras amping up the romance once again.

Our Wedding
I wanted the wedding to be relaxed and fun. We tried to go for a rustic, boho type theme where nothing was too neat.
For me the whole day was perfect, I really loved it all. The hotel made us feel totally at home and helped it all run smoothly.
I felt really moved in the morning when I saw all the bridesmaids and my mum ready and the church was really special for me but I loved it all, the photos, speeches and the reception I just wish it could have all gone on longer, as the day flew by.

With its rugged coastline and mountains, the county of Kerry stretches out, filled with forests and busy waters. Amongst this Irish countryside, little villages lies cosily nestled between splendid nature and was the place Harriet and Tim choose for their wedding.
Harriet and her bridesmaids wore rosemary in their hair, clutching blush roses against their softly coloured dresses. Her bond with her sister, mum and girlfriends are so strong, it was a privilege to be part of their bridal morning, getting ready in nervous anticipation of the day ahead. In Tim’s family church, while the rain was mounting up to a small storm outside, they said their vows.
Taking in the mystery of the area, we headed to the abandoned monastery, which the locals claimed gave Bram Stoker the inspiration to write ‘Dracula’. Built around a yew tree older than the monastery itself, the roofs are now gone, and the forest is closing in on it.
Muckross Hotel and Spa provided a relaxing bliss for the wedding guests, whilst exploring Ireland over several days. In the wedding celebration stretching over three days, many pints of Guinness was consumed and Tim’s musical family made everyone feel welcome with music and their warm Irish nature.
