Today’s beautiful real wedding is a feast of ideas, from the style, to the flowers, to the food (we can’t decide if the cheese or the cake has us more excited, they both look incredible!).

Dora & Nicolas are a couple with one of those sweet, serendipitous love stories, where they reconnected in Athens, four years after their first meeting at university in Crete. So it was fitting that they celebrated their wedding on the picturesque Athenian Riviera, with a refined, yet contemporary reception by the sea.

From Elias Kordelakos Photography: Dora met Nicolas in her first year of University in Rethymnon City, the beautiful town in Crete, where Nicolas was already working as a doctor.

Four years passed without ever seeing each other again, when she completed her studies, came back to Athens and there, one day, they met again and they have never been apart from one another ever since.

They traveled together a lot and moved to London for one year, and when they came back, they decided to tie the knot.

The wedding took place in Athenian Riviera, early September, in one of the most picturesque venues. The choice was made several months before as they decided to start looking for venues, before even the question was popped!

From Rock Paper Scissors Events: Dora has an exquisite taste so it was more than a pleasure to work with her. We went for a natural, elegant style that included lots of grey tones and neutral colors.

This classic combination could easily be taken down a very traditional road, but instead, we took an ‘open air’ interpretation with lots of greenery, aged gold and silver accents merged with vintage elements and some marsala details.

The result felt intentionally expressive combining everlasting romance with a prevailing passionate vibe. Something that successfully reflects their love story.

The “special” thing about this wedding, is that there was no ceremony, it was preparations and reception.

Guests savoured a splendid five course menu perfectly paired with Greek wine and so a long cheese table was a unique epilogue to a lovely dinner and one of our beloved details of this wedding!

Succulent favors in the welcome area table, dessert table and her stunning beauty and her dress are more details that cannot be overlooked.
