Weddings can often be fussy affairs, filled with superfluous stuff but this shoot celebrates the beauty of simplicity. It’s fresh, modern, cool and clean featuring pops of vibrant colour and unexpected texture, statement hair dos and cool bridal style.

From ghost chairs to gold cutlery and a hand lettered seating chart affixed to the wall with washi tape there are lots of fab (and inexpensive) ideas to steal for your big day!

This shoot is all about how the purest of ingredients, space and light, combine to create the perfect atmosphere for celebration. The ultimate blank canvas, a minimalist environment allows us to build an event using nothing other than that which is useful, beautiful or meaningful… and, hopefully, all three.

Irish Wedding Inspiration

Working with a team of some of Ireland’s best event creatives, in the workshop space above a very special homewares studio Arran Street East, we set about harnessing the vibrancy in both our location and our crew, to offer a new kind of Irish wedding inspiration.

Design & Details

Photographed by Into the Light, the images soak up every particle the sun offered that day, resulting in an other-worldly luminosity… an un-real sort of beauty.

The wonderful Bella Botanica created lush, abundant arrangements that appear as if they’ve sprouted through the floorboards. Using a base palette of white and green, vibrant pops of pink peony carry through the theme begun in the vibrant, hand-lettered stationery and signage by Three Bullet Gate.

Our tiered naked cake by The Flour Artist is adorned simply with camomile, exemplifying the freshness of the concept.

Chic Bridal Styling

The approach is carried through to bridal styling, where makeup artist Edwina Akano accentuates our model’s youthful freckles, startling peepers and sultry pout – her skin is luminous and fresh, as every bride’s should be. For hair, Katie Culleton offers three wearably directional looks: loose waves and a fresh flower headpiece, for the ceremony; the chignon reimagined for dinner; and a laidback topknot for all that dancing.

The future couldn’t be brighter.
