You'd never believe this pretty wedding inspiration is totally eco-friendly

Where are my fellow eco-friendly brides at?! (This is me taking a break from tree-hugging to give you a virtual hug!)

If you’re conflicted about the amount of waste and consumption involved in planning your dream wedding, we hear you. I chronicled my own efforts & best tips for eco-friendly planning during our wedding in Mexico last year. It’s not easy to be green when planning such a big, flashy party!

But thankfully, more and more vendors are concerned about our Mother Earth too and have presented so many great sustainable products and ideas for a waste-free (or waste-less) wedding that still sparkles with festivity. For example, this talented Nashville team put together a beautiful wedding scene offering plenty of eco-friendly ideas for your day.

From the stationery to florals, wedding fashion and even the cake – each element of this wedding design was craftily chosen to serve not only a pretty purpose but an ethical one. This Nashville, TN styled shoot is an eco-friendly, organic wedding that features local artisans and vendors. Every curated detail is sustainable, modern, and sophisticated for the bride that is inspired by the raw beauty of the world around us.

The bride is radiating in a blush and white wedding gown that is North American made. The subtle, pink floral design adds a stylish touch that complements the wedding’s color palette. Her bouquet is made out of organic and local flowers foraged from a Nashville flower farm. The ceremony site is simply adorned with pampas grass, rocks, and mismatched chairs.

All of the paper goods and stationery are eco-friendly. One is handmade and the other paper is produced in an environmentally friendly paper house that focuses on recycled materials and reduces their water consumption during the papermaking process.

The table is furnished with beautiful cutlery, handmade pottery, organic flowers and Himalayan rock salt. Even the linens are naturally hand-dyed pink with avocado pits. The vegan cake is also made with organic ingredients and is topped with local flowers. We hope this styled shoot inspires brides to plan sustainable and environmentally friendly weddings.
