Hello everybody,

Tuesdays have never looked so pretty!

Yuling and Immanuel's wedding was such a beautiful, happy day ~ in fact, I don't think I've ever seen a happier bride and groom! Yuling is a graphic designer with impeccable taste ~ just wait until you see her unique, pleated dress and the gorgeous stationary suite she created.

She designed eco-friendly email Save The Dates which incorporated illustrations representing both their stories so far, complete with a monogram that “branded” the wedding and tied all of the pieces together, from the Save the Dates, to the menus, to the wedding website, to the “Here come the Bride” signs and the Thank You cards.

The attention to detail is amazing don't you think? I love how Yuling and Immanuel teamed soft, pretty pastels with pewter and navy throughout their wedding ~ such a lovely combination! Their wedding day was captured to dreamy, light filled perfection by Erin of EE Photography.

Sit back and enjoy the pretty…

Yuling and Immanuel share the details:

The Venue Months before our engagement, Yuling saw photos of the reception venue (while flipping through an architectural magazine at work) and instantly fell in love with it. When we got engaged, I remembered the venue and knew that we HAD to have it there. It was the first venue we visited, and the beauty of the gardens and the greenhouse-like structure won us over.  The picturesque setting and elegance of the venue guided the style and theme of our wedding. Instead of having a set colour palette, we choose to do a variety of colours that went well together- blush, navy, pewter, greens, peach, etc.

The Style The wedding look/style was guided by the soft elegance of the gardens at our venue. Yuling saw photos of the Mori Lee dress online and fell in love with it. Even though she called around to many bridal stores in the local area and was unable to find the dress in a store, she could not stop thinking about the dress. So she took a gamble and ordered the dress online without ever seeing it in person.

As for accessories, Yuling kept it simple with some vintage looking bracelets and earrings and a simple, white tulle veil. After the ceremony, she changed out of the veil and added an off-white flower hair accessory.

Absolutely beautiful…

A Rock N Roll Exit! Our original plan was just to play our recessional song (Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder) via an iPod, but when our worship band heard what song we chose, they were ambitious and wanted to play the song live. Then Immanuel and the groomsmen surprised everyone by putting on sunglasses for a rock-n-roll exit!

Come back tomorrow for Part 2 where Wednesday might just rival Tuesday in the prettiest day of the week contest.
