Yesterday I had the privilege of sharing Richard and Emily's bright and colourful wedding preparations and ceremony, captured beautifully by Jamie Bott Photography.

Well today I've got more sunshine, colour and fun for you from their reception…and boy do this couple know how to keep their guests entertained!

In Jamie's words:

With a Hog Roast, Magician and choice of several lawn based games no one was left uncatered for and there was a real team spirit as many of the guests had helped in the organisation and running of the day. It was also a day for speeches, as not content with opening up the mic for anyone to say a few words, Richard chose 8 best men each of whom gave their own speech!

Let's just remind ourselves of the rather large and perfectly styled bridal party…

{There was just too much excitement for some of the guests!}

{Have you ever seen a bride playing pool? Me neither…but I'd like to see more of it!}

{Lawn games = perfect laid back entertainment for a Summer wedding}

{Such a simple but brilliant idea-the table plan on a washing line!}

{Simply beautiful-a selection of colourful blooms in a jar. }

{And so begin the many speeches of the evening!}

{Everyone wants to join in!}

{Venue – Old Rectory, Pyworthy}

This wedding epitomizes everything I love about English Summertime…pass the Pimms!

Richard and Emily brought so much colour, vibrancy and fun to their wedding styling, attire, decor and entertainment, I hope it has inspired some of you to be just as daring and bold with your choices!

I'd like to wish the newlyweds {who are both doing aid work in Africa at the moment} a long and happy marriage full of colour and fun!  And thanks again to Jamie Bott for sharing his amazing photography. Visit his website to find out more and his  blog to see his most recent work.
