Looking for chic and unique honeymoon accomdation?

Hoping to have a festival fabulous Hen Do?

Or perhaps you're just looking for something different to do! Dirty weekend away perhaps? {In the muddiest sense of the phrase!}

Then Go Glamping could be the website you've been looking for!

Go Glamping is the leading luxury camping directory where you will find yurts, tipis, safari tents, airstream caravans and more…

I was thrilled to find such a comprehensive directory of chic and unique places to stay that offer the chance to get close to nature {but not too close if you don't want to!}

The luxury aspect is a HUGE bonus especially if you're not a particularly happy camper. {Who wants to spend hours faffing with tent poles, stay in a cramped tent, eat baked beans, get wet & muddy & have nightmares about the toilets for years to come?!}

You can search by location {they recommend suppliers worldwide} or by type of accommodation. And if you fall in love with the glamping lifestyle, Go Glamping also offers recommended suppliers so you can buy your own yurt/caravan/tipi!

Here's a few of my  top picks from the Go Glamping website:

The Honeymoon {or Mini Moon} Often after all the expense of a wedding, a weekend break or ‘Mini Moon' could be the best solution until couples can afford to save up for a ‘proper' honeymoon.

A Romantic Hide Away in England:

Were you inspired by the wild and free, romanticism of Gypsy caravans as seen in the Alternative Gypsy Wedding inspiration board last week? Then a weekend away in a Romany caravan or ‘Vardo' could be for you!

Here's what the team at Go Glamping had to say about Wriggles Brook Gypsy B&B, Herefordshire:

Great food, a warm welcome and cosy accommodation in gypsy caravans awaits you at this unusual B&B in the Wye Valley…

Breakfast is brought to your caravan any time between dawn and 11.00am with meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans all catered for. Outside there is a hammock and a swing for each caravan, and guests share a centrally heated luxury cabin with a lovely hot shower, eco-friendly loo, a fridge and kitchen sink. There’s plenty on offer for the more active guest including: canoeing, walking, cycling, horse-riding, fishing, golf and much more … or just kick back, light a fire, and chill out in a wonderful setting.

Wow! The swing is such a lovely, romantic touch…

The Eco, Breath-Takingly Beautiful option in Spain:

Cabanes als Arbes, or ‘Huts in the Trees', offers lovers of nature the unique pleasure of a stay in direct touch with the tree and its ecosystem, in this collection of beautiful tree houses in a forest setting near Girona, Catalonia.

To preserve the environment to the utmost, the huts don’t have electricity nor running water. Therefore, each hut is equipped with hand and head torches and candles, as well as a jug with water and a basin.
In order to enjoy the calmness of the morning and the privileged situation of the huts, continental breakfast is served in the huts via a basket.Guests are able to access the hut through a suspended bridge and a wooden ladder.

Nearby, our centennial and cosy country house provides all the complementary services such as: shower room, living room with fireplace, children’s playroom, garden with bar service, swimming pool and bicycle hire.

Can you imagine seeing that view every morning? And breakfast delivered by a basket on a rope, how novel!

The Achingly Cool and Kitsch Option in France:

Belrepayre Airstream & Retro Trailer Park…AMAZING!

Former circus performers, Perry and Coline, have created a rare and unusual Airstream trailer park with outstanding views of the mountains, in the foothills of the Pyrénées near Mirepoix, a historic town in southern France.

Available on a self-catering basis, there’s a choice of nine authentic Airstreams from the Fifties, Sixties and Seventies, each furnished in period style with shag pile, disco balls and vinyl 45s to help you indulge in the atmosphere of the era.

They have special communal areas including the Appollo Lounge where campers can get a bite to eat and listen to retro tunes and the ‘Spa', which is essentially a hot tub that can be rented! The Times rated this ‘the coolest caravan site in France' and you can totally see why!

The Hen Do/Stag Do

Posh Pitches are based in beautiful Cornwall. The posh pitchers erect your tent for you and deck it out in true Glamping Style.

Do you love Cornwall, love camping, but hate the thought of packing up the car and suffering a cramped journey to the South-West?

Then why not let us take some of the stress out of your camping holiday and arrive at your destination to find a beautiful bell tent already pitched and waiting for you?

I LOVE this idea, who wants to be packing up a tent feeling worse for wear after a full on weekend of partying!

{Amazing illustration by Jessica Sharville…check out her website, this girl is super talented!}

By the way, I can highly recommend Cornwall as my friend had her hen weekend there and it was brilliant! In most towns there are a plethora of bars and clubs, beautiful beaches and surfing opportunities to be had nearby!

Check out the Go Glamping website for loads more fantastic accommodation ideas. {They even have a small section, dedicated to unusual Glamping esque venues that cater for weddings too hurrah!}

So what do you reckon? Will you be go Glamping this year?!
