On Monday I'll be here:

Phuket, Thailand for my best friend's wedding!

Kelly and I have known each other since we started secondary school where we bonded over a shared hatred of maths, love of, ahem, Boyzone and lots of general pre teen {and post teen} silliness!

We've been through it ALL together, we've shared our deepest secrets, travelled round Austraila together, seen each other through the happiest of days and the heartache. No matter how far away we are from each other or how many months between our visits, each time we're together it's as if we were never apart and we're those two silly 11 year olds again! Her family have always been so welcoming, Hannah, Kelly's younger sister is a wonderful friend too and I love them all dearly.

Here's a picture of the happy couple:

I'm so thankful that Kelly and Kenny found each other {how they met is a very interesting tale!} as they are clearly meant to be together. I'm welling up with happiness for them already, imagine what I'll be like on the day? Waterproof mascara at the ready!

I'm Kelly's maid of honour and very excited about her Bond Girls hen do!  We had lots of fun thinking of bond esque ideas and I'm looking forward to channeling my inner Ursula Andress! {She's got to be in there somewhere, right?}

There will be a boat trip out to the islands surrounding Phuket, with a few stop offs for swimming & nibbles on the white sand beaches. Then it'll be time to don our LBDs and Bond girl bling and I've got a few tricks up my sleeve for the evenings entertainment during cocktails but I can't reveal too much…these blog pages have ears.

Then there's the intimate wedding day itself think deep purples and white orchids overlooking the turquoise sea…it's going to be beautiful. Kelly and Kenny don't do things by halves, they decided to travel the world and get married in the same year. And now, due to some family members very sadly not being able to attend the Thailand wedding, they are having a second wedding in England!

Our Honeymoon

Another amazing thing is that after eight months of marriage, Zee and I are finally having our honeymoon! We'll be honeymooning in Phuket as well, just a different area and hotel. A double date is one thing but a double honeymoon? No thank you!

We're having a beach and rainforest tented camp experience for 3 days {including a visit to an elephant sanctuary!} and for the last few days of our trip we decided to go all out and have booked a 5* boutique hotel…best of all, our room has it's own swimming pool! How amazing is that?!

I'm going to stop now, cause I'm just shamefully showing off!

I just wanted to let all you lovely readers know that things may be a quieter on Bridal Musings for the next couple of weeks. But I have been working hard to make sure you get your daily fix with a post a day and on my return I promise to make it up to you with all the gossip from the wedding, our honeymoon and lots more loveliness at least twice a day!

I may just have to send a few sneaky peeks and updates via Twitter {@bridalmusings} and Facebook, so if you're interested, why not ‘like' or follow Bridal Musings to keep up to date on all the latest gossip.

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter Break!

What are your plans for the bank holidays?
