I was so pleased to discover Rebecca Wedding Photography. I love the vintage effect of Rebecca's photos and the fun, natural feel to them. This wedding she photographed recently is so very lovely…from the DIY lace wedding dress to the fabulous photobooth. {DIYed by Rebecca!}

Here's Rebecca to tell us about the day:

A beautiful Columbian bride, Paula, weds a true English gent, Mark, on a beautiful April afternoon in The Village of Chanies, Buckinghamshire. The stunning location and perfect weather made for a fantastic backdrop for this sweet DIY wedding.

The bride got ready at Latimar House while the groom awaited her arrival at St. Micheals Chruch in Chanies. The service was relaxed and romantic, the church was lovely and the Vicar was equally calm and inviting. The bridal party arrived perfectly on time and the bride's sister, who had flown over especially from Bogota, walked Paula down the aisle followed by three beautiful bridesmaids and a bridesman.

Her dress was stunning and handmade with beautiful lace in a vintage style by Paula's aunty in Columbia and she wore three white peonies in her hair – she looks graceful and so elegant. The bouquet was made up of gorgeous spring flowers including tulips and peonies, these were echoed in the lovely homemade three tiered victoria sponge wedding cake and the flowers at the church and venue included bluebells and daffodils.

{Paula is such a beauty…I love everything about her wedding day style. It's vintage perfection!}

I told you…so very lovely! And there's so much more loveliness to come in Part 2!

So are any of you brave enough to have a DIY wedding dress?
