There's something so dreamy and romantic about lace.

And you can't get much more symbolic of love and romance than hearts.

So together they are the height of romance and a perfectly pretty addition to weddings!

Here are a few chic and unique ways to incorporate lace and hearts into your wedding:

How lovely is the back of this dress? Hair down would not be an option in this dress.

I've got a cute little summer dress with a heart cut out back but I'd never seen it on a wedding dress before, until I came across UK based Charlotte Bridal. This is the Jennifer dress from her current collection.

Make a statement with an over sized lace heart headpiece by Suzy O' Rourke Millinery.

{Love this image ~ not sure I'd be daring enough to wear such a statement piece but I'd love to see a fashionista bride rocking it!}

We've all seen ‘lace effect' doily bunting, but how about the real thing?

Delicate, whispy pieces of alternating lace patterns strung up on the thinnest of string would look stunning strung across/hanging vertically from the ceiling.

These pretty lace hearts could be used to decorate trees {they'd look dreamy alongside fairy lights!} they'd also make a pretty photo booth backdrop or how about making mini lace hearts, attaching them to lolly sticks and using them as cupcake toppers?!

All you need to make these darling lace heart garlands is some lace, a heart shaped cookie cutter, Mod Podge, a paint brush, a needle and thread, and a pair of scissors. {The cookie cutter makes this craft much easier than it looks!} Go check out the full tutorial on the fabulous craft blog Michele Made Me.

So what do you think? Are you a lace heart fan or are they a bit too girly for you?!
