I hope you all had restful/fun/productive weekends {delete as appropriate}. I'm back from my holiday and can't wait to share the plethora of wedding goodness I've got lined up for you this week.
Starting with Bridal Musing's first ever Scottish wedding {hurrah!} and what a bright, beautiful and elegant wedding it is too. The bride looks stunning in her slim fitting Stewart Parvin satin wedding dress with lace shrug while the groom is rocking a seriously stylish charcoal grey waistcoat, jacket and kilt combo. Their day was captured to perfection by Ed of Ed Osborn Photography, who shoots using film. His photos have such a timeless, atmospheric, beautiful quality ~ I just can't stop looking at them…
Here's Ed with a little more about Lindsey and David's wedding:
Lindsey and David had a humanist ceremony at the beautiful St. Andrew's in the Square, in Glasgow. Rain was forecast for the day, but in the end turned out to be a lovely sunny day, which matched the bright yellow colour palette well.
Before the wedding David had told Lindsey he would like her to walk in to his favourite Nick Cave song, but Lindsey had insisted on something more traditional. So, it was a nice surprise for David when the harpist began playing “Into My Arms” as Lindsey started to walk down the aisle.
Such an elegant wedding. Those sunshine yellow roses against the white are incredible, don't you think?!
