Hello lovelies,

Hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday! I just want to remind readers from the UK about a fantastic giveaway I'm running ~ you can win afternoon tea for two at a top London hotel! But hurry, you need to get your entries in by Saturday 17th December.

Now onto Part 2 of Yuling and Immanuel's gorgeous wedding (check out Part 1 if missed any of the pretty). Not only did Yuling DIY the wedding stationary with her superb design skills but she made the buttonholes too! A lady of many of talents.

Things to watch out for in Part 2 include the dress (again) because it's exquisite, the charming pink salt favours, the butterfly cake, the stunning photography by Erin Woolsey and the unique entertainment. At the reception they played a game similar to “dancing with the stars” but the bridesmaids and groomsmen had to mimic music videos and then were rated by judges. How fun is that?!

Over to Yuling and Immanuel to share more about their special day:

Flowers: Yuling was very ambitious and decided to create the buttonholes herself with freeze dried flowers (so that she could create them well ahead of time). The buttonholes included Delphinium Blooms, dried Lavender, and Eucalyptus seeds and leaves.|

The bridesmaid and bride bouquets included peach heirloom roses, white peonies, green and orange hypericum berries, along with many other textures and leaves. We wanted the bouquets to look organic and rustic.

Décor & Details:

We tried to keep the decorations simple and elegant in order to minimize clean up and waste. We bought wholesale ribbon ourselves and decorated the church sanctuary pews with multi-colored strands of ribbon. Our florist hung a grapevine garland, stuffed with the same flowers as the bouquets, as a backdrop for our ceremony. The unity candle table and the welcome table were decorated with white taper candles in varying height glass holders, freeze dried camellia flowers and rose petals.

Likewise, the reception centerpieces were simple cylindrical glass vases with white pillar candles of varying heights, around which we spread blush colored rose petals. Yuling bought the candles and rose petals wholesale online and rented the vases from our florist.

For the favors, Immanuel came up with a great idea of giving our guests pink colored salt. We packaged the salt in recycled corked glass jars, and tied a favor card to them. Not only was the favor useful, but as religious people, the salt has spiritual connotations.

The Refreshments:

We choose to go for a buffet meal to ensure that all of our guests got an ample amount and variety of food. The buffet included hanger steak, grilled fish, and several vegetable sides. To finish off, our caterer made a beautiful cake, decorated with edible sugar butterflies. We chose two favorite cake flavors- a peach/marscapone and a cranberry/marscapone.

For the cocktail hour, we served typical hors d’oeuvres and we had a smoothie bar featuring two types of smoothies. The smoothies were such a big hit with everyone!

Photography:

We had heard of Erin Woolsey (our photographer) from friends. We really liked the softness of her photos, as well as the way she plays with light and makes everything look just magical.

Advice for other couples:

Remember the big picture! Sadly, many of the details that are stress about end up going unnoticed. In the end, people will just remember the beauty of the day and event.

Thank you Yuling and Immanuel for sharing your wedding with us, wishing you a lifetime filled with happiness. If you are looking for wedding stationary then you really must check out Yuling Designs ~ Yuling creates the most beautiful custom designs!

Many thanks to Erin of Ee Photography, it is such a pleasure to feature your work ~ I agree with Yuling and Immanuel, your photos are absolutely magical!
